Huntsville Botanical Gardens Engagement Session // Maureen & Alber

I'm so super excited to share with you all the photos from Alber & Maureen's engagement session. Maureen & Alber have been together for eight years, meeting at their local community back home in Lompoc, CA. After surviving living together throughout Alber's grad school, they packed their things and moved to Huntsville for work. On a romantic late-summer Europe vacation, Alber proposed to Maureen in Venice, Italy.

They flew my wife and I out to Huntsville to take their engagement photos at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. The gardens were beautifully taken care of and had a variety of different areas and looks, which provided for an even more magical gallery. Enjoy the photos and if you are looking to book a photographer for your wedding or engagement photos, don't hesitate to contact me.

Alicia & Travis's Santa Barbara Engagement Session

It was such a pleasure to take the photos of Alicia & Travis in Santa Barbara. It's not every day you get to take photos of people who have already been together for almost eight years before taking the next step to becoming husband and wife.

While walking on the beach, we chatted about how they met and how they reached the point of becoming engaged.

I got to hear everything about how when Alicia first met Travis, she shrugged him off and it took him over three tries to successfully ask her out. This really surprised me since they are such a great for fit for one another. Hope Ranch Beach is truly a special spot for their relationship; everytime they'd get into an argument they would come to the beach and not leave until they had settled their differences.  This really echoed with me about how committed they were to each other and their relationship. I'm so lucky to be photographing their wedding this coming August!

Riley & Nick's Engagement Session

Riley and Nick's engagement session was absolutely stunning. After some planning and some issues with getting a shoot scheduled, we finally got to meet up last month and get these absolutely incredibly cute pictures of these two. We shot at Corriganville Park in Simi Valley which has gorgeous tree tunnels and gorgeous chaparral. I was so lucky that the day that I started to edit these, the new Mastin Labs 1.2 Preset Pack update was released, which made this gallery one of the most simple editing jobs I've ever done. Most of these images were edited with one push and a quick dial spin for exposure adjustment.

Deanna & Jarrad's Montaña de Oro Engagement Session

Deanna & Jarrad reached out to me earlier this year to shoot their wedding this upcoming October. It's going to be an absolutely phenomenal wedding at a gorgeous old guest house in the middle of one of Paso Robles finest wineries. I was so fortunate that Deanna & Jarrad also wanted an engagement session, which we did at Montana De Oro State Park near Los Osos, CA. The photos that we captured were incredible and captured the essence and happiness that Deanna & Jarrad. We even got to take the drone out for some silhouette shots! Enjoy!

Rosa & Juan's Elysian Park Engagement Session

Rosa & Juan are a big step in my business career. I say this because they are my first clients to solely find me through digital advertising. After discussing their wedding and learning more about their wants and needs, we met up for coffee to discuss more. They are absolutely incredible people with hearts of gold. I wish them so much luck and love in their life, for they deserve it all.

My Engagement & Trip to Death Valley National Park

After a grueling 5 hour car-ride and many curse words thrown at me by my then-girlfriend, now-fiance, we are now ENGAGED! I set up my camera on a tripod and told her I just wanted to have cute pictures of us together for our adventure out to the desert, but surprised her with a ring while my camera kept snapping away! The photos were taken at Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley National Park. Enjoy!
